Special Needs Programme in Early Years

In Early Years we understand that each child learns and develops in different ways and at different rates. We also believe that all areas of learning and development are important and inter-connected.

The specialised teachers and psychologists in our Special Needs Programme, give additional support to those pupils who would benefit from a more personalised and individual learning environment. To this effect there are a variety of ongoing support activities throughout the academic year.

The support activities included in this programme are:
  • Learning
  • Mathematics
  • PSE Social Skills
  • Gross Motor
  • ESL

All of the support activities included in the Special Needs Programme are completely free of charge for all Markham families.
