The girls' Juveniles team represented Markham on their recent trip to the Grange School in Chile last May. Their captain, Ariana Castro, shares some thoughts on the experience:

We thank the PE teachers who made this experience possible. Our trip was a great learning opportunity and created many memorable moments. We made new friends in every match we played and got to experience the local culture. We achieved our goal of playing internationally through hard work, perseverance and dedication - all of our years of training paid off. We invite every student to join a sport and help more teams have these types of unique opportunities.
